This summer I attended an excellent workshop (geared mainly toward senior photography) with a houseful of photographers led by the awesome Spanki Mills. I’m not feeling long-winded tonight, so I won’t go into a lot of detail but, I really had a great time and learned a lot. I’m also quite thankful for the relationships I made while there. We all stayed together for a couple of days at a house in Austin, TX and had a great time getting to know each other and really getting work done. Spanki doesn’t hold back when she’s teaching and it was refreshing to really dive into her processes. The workshop was super productive too with plenty of time dedicated to actually implementing some things we were learning. For example we had time to sit and write business emails. That way, we didn’t feel like we had to come home behind with no time to really put what we learned into practice. So if you are a photographer interested in attending a workshop led by Spanki, I totally recommend it.
And then, of course, we ended our experience with a great little model shoot in downtown Austin. It was such a fun time working with these sweet models!
Amazing!!!
