Earlier today Kal had his first ever soccer game. It was a chilly, cloudy, 40 degree day but he worked hard! They did 30 minutes of practice then 30 minutes of 3-on-3 scrimmage. He scored one goal for the opposite team (like all good 4 year olds, lol) and one for his team-go red! And then I think there was some confusion going around his team about what they should be doing… The all-girl yellow team was dominating, so even though they weren’t supposed to play with goalies, it was really tempting to hang out and try to guard the goal. We’ll have to work on that! 🙂
