“There is no footprint too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world”<\/p>\n

Emily and her husband Scooter (whom I have had the sincere pleasure to work with since their engagement pictures), are expecting their second son. The doctors have noticed several complications with Beckham as he develops however, and he is not expected to live long after his birth. I have had few words to offer upon hearing this devastating news. But have certainly spent my time grieving with and praying for this sweet family as I know the many people who love them have. When she let me know they wanted to go ahead with the maternity session, I was so pleased. I wanted to be able to preserve this moment in time for the, when Beckham is with them. Right now, he is moving around inside of Emily and this is still a very special time! I hope that through this photography session I was able to capture that happiness of being with Beckham, as well as the reverence for this precious child God has given her. <\/p>\n

These were sweet gifts-a bear that plays Beckham’s heartbeat and his Bible.

To end the session, Emily, Scooter, and big brother Braylon sent off a paper lantern.
