We now have an EIGHT year old in the home!  I love how special she obviously feels on her birthday. I didn&#8217;t take enough pictures with my camera throughout the day (that&#8217;s always hard on birthdays for momma), but snapped the blowing out the candles of the cake we all made together.  It doesn&#8217;t look too pretty but was yummy homemade vanilla cake, with strawberry jam between the layers, and homemade buttercream frosting.  Our cake with family on Saturday was absolutely amazing and from the talent at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/crumbtrailsbakery\/\">CrumbTrails Bakery<\/a>.
