Trusting me with your portraits means you'll have over a decade of experience on your side. I'm not afraid to offer direction and will mix posed pictures with more candid looking photos, trying to also capture interactive moments and genuine smiles.

I offer various types of sessions. Most of my portrait work starts with a session fee, this pays for the session and reserves your date. Within two weeks after we take the pictures, we will meet to look them over and place an order. This is called an ordering session.

In addition to portrait sessions, I offer various mini sessions throughout the year. Minis are a simplified option for those years you just need updated pictures or if your budget is tight.

I also offer special packages and bundles for weddings and babies (see below).

A super-simple and fun way to capture your kids and all their many expressions. Takes about five minutes but you'll treasure them forever.

Personality Portraits

Offered a few times throughout the year. Typically book up fast. The session includes 10 digital images of your choice.

One hour session. We'll start with the more posed, looking at the camera pictures then plan activities to keep it fun for the kids.

This depends on the type of session and I'm happy to offer more personal advice. However, in general, I recommend coordinating (not necessarily matching perfectly) with others in the group (if any) and accessorizing.
Ask about borrowing from my growing client closet!!

What SHOULD I wear?

Sometimes clients have a special location in mind. Often, they have a look that they are hoping for and I assist in choosing a special spot. I like to find out what you plan to wear, then suggest locations based on what would look good with those outfits, the time of year it is, and your preferences.

How do you choose a location?

Because I believe the end goal is a physical product, except for minis, portrait sessions come with an ordering session, where you will select products and place an order. The products will then be available for pickup at my house within 1-4 weeks. If your package comes with digital images, those will be delivered online.

How will i receive my images?

I strive to be timely, but personally cull and edit all of the galleries myself. Sessions shot during peak season and weddings may take longer. Photos are guaranteed within one month, but typically done within two weeks.

how long before pictures are ready?

Retainer fees are non-refundable, but transferable to a different date if necessary. If the weather is bad or there is a personal emergency, I will do everything in my power to be available for another date that works for you.
