One of Melody’s favorite movies was Twister.  She never thought she would ever be in the middle of something like that.  She and her daughter Heaven had just returned to their apartment from dinner at Subway.  Business as usual, Melody put her laundry away and then it hit.  They ended up huddling together in the bathroom on the floor.  They were both terrified.  They lost a lot of their things, but feel so fortunate and blessed to still have each other.  However, as you may imagine, it has been a difficult adjustment over the months since.  At first they stayed in a home with Melody’s brother and family of 6, but that was far from home and crowded.  They have found a temporary space for now until their former apartment complex is rebuilt.
