Charity is one of those incredible women. You know the type. Someone who always has something uplifting and optimistic to add to any conversation. The type of woman who is honestly interested in you every time you meet and rarely shifts the topic of conversation to herself. The kind of person who you love to be around because they are so selfless and generous and considerate.
I introduced you to the Checketts family last fall when I first took their pictures. I heard about Charity’s breast cancer diagnosis and like everyone who knows Charity, wanted to do something for her. So we met again between surgery and chemo for some more pictures of her gorgeous clan. The purpose of this blog post is two-fold: (1) to show off family portraits of an incredibly lovely family and (2) to help raise funds for Charity’s big battle. Please stick around after scrolling through the pictures to see how you can help.
Aren’t they a beautiful family!?! Now here’s how you can help these great people:
Fortunately, they have insurance coverage of the medical expenses. But they do have to meet the deductible two years in a row. Charity’s husband, Kelly plans on taking extra after-hour handyman jobs to help with this, but with four little ones and Charity’s weekly treatments, I would love for him to not have to do this! We all would. Please consider donating to this fund: http://gfwd.at/1f0NSFD And know, that they would be so grateful.
I can think of no more worthy cause for your donation dollars this breast cancer awareness month than directly helping someone who is in the fight today!
