Hello there! For those of you who missed it before, my workshop is baaaack!! If you are looking to learn how to take better pictures with your camera then read on, dear friends, because you don’t want to miss this!! Over the past two years, I have taught my workshop for beginning or inexperienced photographers (mostly ladies-but a few dad-tographers here and there). Each time I host the workshop, I tailor the content to perfect it just for you!
Even if you have no aspiration to photograph professionally, there are so many advantages this day and age to knowing how to use a camera. And simply owning a nice camera isn’t enough. I’m going to introduce you to your camera! I will hold your hand (figuratively) and walk you (also figuratively) through everything you need to know to be in control and take pictures in Manual mode! And a whole lot more.
The class is mainly geared towards mom’s with cameras, however bloggers, businesspeople, teachers, pet-lovers and the like have also taken it and thoroughly enjoyed what they’ve learned. In fact, after my last class a student said I had changed her life! Lol, but really you should come!
This class is being offered soon (August 1st) by request. I will be announcing fall and winter dates in three Missouri cities (Saint Louis, Neosho, and Liberty) in the near future. So stay tuned. On August 1st at my house in Liberty, MO I will be teaching a basic photography class that will cover everything you need to know to improve the quality of pictures you take with your fancy DSLr camera (or any camera with a manual setting). The class is from 10am-2pm. Lunch will be provided. The bulk of the class will be learning the rules of exposure and how to take your camera off auto and start shooting in full manual mode. Don’t be scared…I promise, YOU CAN DO IT!! You will also learn essential functions and concepts like: ISO, shutter-speed, aperture, white balance, compositional tips and tools, and all sorts of tricks to help you take pictures you will absolutely love! Class cost is $100. I recommend owning or borrowing a camera that has a “M” or manual setting, however it is not required.
