Four years ago I was looking to shoot my first maternity session. I found Karem through a mutual friend. She and her husband David were expecting their first child that December. We planned a fall maternity shoot at Forest Park, this session was later featured in the On to Baby blog. We since became friends and I have had the privilege of photographing Karem and her beautiful family on several occasions over the years.

Fast forward to this fall when Karem and David were expecting their second addition to the family, this time a son. However, we’ve both moved from Saint Louis-they now live in Dallas and I live in Kansas City! Fortunately, with one direct flight there and back in the same day that gap closed and we were able to meet up again. I had a lovely day hanging out and catching up with my sweet friend and getting to photograph her family for maternity pictures once more!
