Ya’ll! I’m pretty excited to show you this awesome video my friends Kendra and Jeremy helped me create of my first Senior session in KC! We moved here a little over a year ago and this fall I started up working again mainly with seniors in the Liberty/Kansas City area. The video below highlights my session with McKenzie. She and I really hit it off. She let me know the things she wanted me to capture of her and her personality, especially her love for reading and books! I even learned about her fear of birds during the session when a duck swam a little too close for comfort! Since her photoshoot in August, I have worked with eighteen other 2016 seniors. (Click here to see more senior session highlights) We all had a wonderful fall season and I’m now gearing up to finish up the school year working with some more great upcoming grads on their spring senior portrait sessions.
The importance of the senior photo session isn’t lost on me. It marks the end of childhood and the beginning of a new start. It commemorates the excitement of senior year. Also, most of the parents realize that the next time they pay for pro pictures of their child will likely be their wedding pictures this is why it’s worth a little more of an investment than most other photo opportunities. It’s a special time that passes so quickly and needs to be preserved in treasured photographs.
I love getting to know the seniors I work with. I pride myself on customizing their session to fit them perfectly. I’m never just show up and treat it like just another job. Over and over it has been confirmed to me by seniors in their reviews that I am able to help even the most nervous of them feel comfortable and be themselves in front of the camera. Please contact me if are a 2016 or 2017 senior wanting to book your portrait session! And I hope you enjoy this video 🙂
