You would be hard pressed to find a couple who look at each other with more love and adoration than Jarom and Ella do. To ensure they had enough time for all the family and friends on their wedding day and also plenty of time for gorgeous couple portraits, they opted for a pre-wedding first look session over a week before their wedding. It was the sweetest and most romantic time ever! And if I could persuade all my brides and grooms to do it – I totally would!
So please scroll through their First Look and Couples Portraits first, then you will find more on their wedding later in this post. We started that Wednesday evening at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. Then we traveled to Liberty Memorial as the sun was setting (don’t skip those, all the heart-eyes you guys!), and finished up with a night shot at Union Station fountain.
Okay so take a look, these two were high school sweethearts and it shows. Jarom looks at her like Ella is the only woman in the world and Ella was so happy she couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. It’s true love.
After this session, we all went into their wedding day full of excitement! The couple was surrounded by their families and close friends.

Anne at Thorne Floral always amazes me but this time… out. of. the. park!! Each bridesmaid was provided a unique floral piece.
The bride surrounded herself with her sister and cousins in shades of pink.
The ceremony was truly heartfelt. Lots of tears and smiles from everyone in the room!
